The Khmer Empire ,[object Object],It was the main power on the Southeast Asia main land for centuries Reached their peak of power around 1200 One of the worlds greatest architectural accomplishments, called Angkor Wat, was built in the capital Angkor The statue was dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu

Island Trading Systems ,[object Object],Build the Buddhist Temple at Borobudar in 800 It was massive and had 9 terrace levels like a pyramid Fell under the power of the powerful island empire of Srivijaya Established capital Palemang, which became a large center for Buddhist learning
