Cartoon Network is a television network founded in 1992 by Turner Broadcasting that airs both daytime and primetime animated programming. Some popular daytime shows include Adventure Time, Scooby Doo, and Chowder, while the late night programming block known as Adult Swim features more adult-oriented cartoons such as Robot Chicken, Family Guy, and American Dad. The network is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia and was home to pioneering animated series like The Flinstones as well as beloved shows from the 1990s including Cow and Chicken and I Am Weasel.
