This document provides information about an online training course for teachers on intercultural mentoring. The course will take place from January to May 2018 and provide a certificate upon completion. It aims to equip educators with tools to address diversity and support students at risk of early school leaving. The training consists of 5 modules that correspond to themes covered in mentoring sessions between students, focusing on wellbeing, language skills, culture, study skills, and interests.

2. E-EVALINTO Project
• Evaluation environment for fostering intercultural mentoring tools and practices
at school
• E-EVALINTO is a European-wide project aimed at providing a prevention and
early intervention strategy in order to reduce the gap between migrant and
non-migrant students in relation to early school leaving
• A prevention and early intervention strategy based on peer mentoring actions
in order to reduce early school leaving in young students with migrant
background

Training Programme
• Place: Online through the GRIAL Research Group virtual campus
• Dates: 29 January to 26 May 2018
• Certification: A certificate of in-service training (35 hours) certified by the
University of Salamanca (Spain), which - at least in Spain - is nationally
recognized for the teaching career
• Main objective: This training programme will equip you, as educators, with tools
to deal with diversity and to apply them at school in order to work effectively
with pupils at risk
• Language: English, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Greek
