Report of the Finance Committee

PHS is pleased to present the financial results for the year ended June 30, 2010. The
financial markets had a significant effect on PHS’s income as shown by the gains in
investment activity in 2010 versus the losses in 2009. While earned income was
down slightly, unrestricted contributions and membership were up. Although 2009
was a challenge, we are encouraged by the 2010 results and grateful to all PHS
supporters who contributed to this success. Many thanks to our members, donors,
partners, friends, and Flower Show visitors.
