4. Testimonials:
"PRiSM's Corporate Social Responsibility and Project
Management integration is key to helping us achieve our
sustainability goals"
-Kathleen Wong, Program Manager of Supply Chain
Social Responsibility at Adobe Systems.
âGPM's PRiSM course was an eye opener in terms of how to
effectively integrate sustainable practices into my projects.
Their tools are easy to use and bridge the gap between our
green initiatives and our project delivery.â
-Lincoln Kirsten, Director of SAP Consulting Services at
Hitachi Consulting
âPrior to PRiSM we had held 7 seminars on Green Project
Management. GPMâs P5 based PRiSM methodology is the
most tangible and practical solution that we have seen to
date. The focus on processes and products directly links
projects to the triple bottom lineâ.

(Open with slide text):
There is a growing demand for sustainability to become more deeply intertwined with business practices. The lack of a widespread sensible approach from individuals who are the most suited to deliver it is what is missing.
With a personal adherence to environmental stewardship and the adoption of framework of sustainable methods, the discipline of project management can serve as an agent of change in decoupling environmental degradation and economic growth.  GPMâs mission is to serve as the igniter for this change.
Â
In 2008, IPMA (International Project Management Association) Vice-President Mary McKinlay stated a keynote speech that âthe further development of the project management profession requires project managers to take responsibility for sustainabilityâ.
Â
Maryâs comment was the trigger for the development and planning of a change in the way sustainability for many was understood from a project management perspective in that sustainability could in become a shared objective, a global deliverable that one project at a time, we could inch closer to.
Â
Letâs be real. We are not challenging project managers to completely change their methodologies or to throw out their current delivery framework, the GPMâs approach sets about encouraging the current working practices but with a few enhancements. Namely, the P5 framework, and the PRiSM Method.
Â
Project management with these new perspectives and tools can redefine the word success. The five âPsâ as they encapsulate the PRiSM method ensure that all aspects of sustainability are accounted for without increasing major costs or turning an organization upside down in order to use it.
Who Are We?
GPM TrainingOur training courses center on our unique EnVex methodology, an andragogical (adult learning) approach which incorporates classical instruction on core project management and sustainability methodologies and principles, with an iterative hands-on approach challenging participants in a case study driven environment to apply new techniques to real-life situations.
The EnVex approach imparts new ways in achieving business objectives while reducing waste and resource consumption spanning five measurable bottom lines which are fundamental to the curriculum. This approach imparts new ways for achieving business objectives while reducing waste and resources consumption. The business model of GPMÂŽ Global is structured so that we partner with the world's foremost training organizations to deliver the courses while we focus on developing new and creative ways to advance the message of sustainability. Already, companies such as Adobe, SAIC, and Cushman Wakefield have taken the practitioner course in the United States and the BBC in Londonâs first course is scheduled for September 24th.
