3. Resume Formats
What do you do?
Format-bullet points are generally not used in a federal resume, write in
concise well developed paragraphs. Use quantitative and qualitative
statements. Using this format you can address two issues:
A-You can write in complete and articulate sentences. (key
to any position)
B-Paragraphs allow you to provide the full scope of your
knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Qualification Determinations- are based upon a standard position description
selected by the hiring manager. Your resume is rated and ranked against a
point value system as indicated on the PD. Determinations can only be
adjudicated on the information given on your resume, incomplete information
may result in a low rating, detailed resumes will generally receive a rating of
Best or Superior qualified in Category A
