Story Board
1. Music playing. Camera zooms in on guy playing video games in the dark, the TV illuminating the room
2. VIDEO GAME ADDICTION Same Music Playing, then almost fades out. “Video game addiction” will be shot onto the screen with almost a bang noise, one word at a time
3. VIDEO GAME ADDICTION Music picks up and then the words “video game addiction” shatter away like class falling.
4. Opens on me talking about video games and how much their popularity has increased over the years. Give example of popular videogames.
5. Cut-to video of someone playing videogames and then show 2 more people playing video games
6. Back to me, I start talking about how video games evolve and become more and more popular, but ask the question, are we developing addictions and are videogames becoming addicting.
7. Cut- to interview clips where I ask the interviewees; are video games addicting? Or what they think about video game addiction
8. Give some facts about video games and people who play video games, like the amount of hours played etc.
10. Mention how many people joke about video game addiction, even modern shows like south park have joked about it. Then have a clip from the south park show
11. Video game addiction is no joke though, then tell story of kid who had the police called on him because of his game addiction problem
12. Propose that video games really are addicting and that addicts need help if they want it. Tell about different solutions to the problem
13. Ask interviewees if they think there should be help for video game addicts on campuses.
14. Wrap up the segment with a conclusion saying even though video games may not be physically addictive they have very negative affects and they need help.
