Brief introduction of the organization
 Phare Ponleu Selpak (PPS) is an arts organization founded in 1994 in
Battambang
 PPS works and supports to vulnerable children and youths and their families
 PPS holistic approaches are artistic and cultural, Educational and Social Service
 PPS signed MoU with:
     The Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts
     The Ministry of Social Affaire Veteran and Youth-rehabilitation
     The Battambang Provincial Department of Education Youth and Sports
Brief introduction of the organization
Major donors support for general operations:
 Comité Catholique contre la Faim et pour le
Développement (CCFD)
 French Embassy

Additional grant support:
 PAZ Y DESARROLLO (PyD)
 Jumelage Torcy–Cambodge
 European Commission
 Air France
 Friend International
Description of the intervention
 Visual and Creative Arts for Change:
    Visual Arts exhibition
    Motorcycling tour (road exhibition)
    Theatre performance
    Community training on theatre



 Masculinity, violence against women and gender equality campaign
through visual and creative arts supported by PyD:
     Visual Arts exhibition
     Theatre happening
     Live painting
     Awareness theatre performance
Target
 Visual Arts exhibition:

    Artists, NGOs staff, Governmental officer, high-school
   and university students (15 to 55)

 Theatre performance:

    All people (15 to 60)

o The intervention will be reached to an estimate of 60000
people.
Results

 30000 men (include artists
and performers involved in the
intervention) will increased
their knowledge on gender
equality and masculinity while
attending the intervention.
Location
 Visual and Creative Arts for Change based on fund received.

 Masculinity, violence against women and gender equality campaign
through visual and creative arts supported by PyD:
     Kratie
     Stung Treng
     Mondulkiri
     Rattanakiri
Calendar of implementation
 Visual and Creative Arts for Change based on fund received (by the
way it will held within the period of one year (March 2012 to February
2013).

 Masculinity, violence against women and gender equality campaign
through visual and creative arts supported by PyD will be held from
March to April 30th, 2011 for the performance and exhibition to:
     Kratie
     Stung Treng
     Mondulkiri
     Rattanakiri
M&E
The intervention led by project coordinator, thus the monitoring tool will
be developed by him/her. The followings can be used as monitoring
tool:
 Visual Arts exhibition:
     Attendance list of the participants (quantity).
     Written and drawings of the participants described on their
    knowledge about the issues while they attended the quiz (quality).
     Report about the exhibition with pictures attached
 Awareness theatre performance:
     Pre and Post assessment on the knowledge about the issues
    concerned (quality).
     Report about the performance
Note: The evaluation will be done by the external evaluator.
Costs
The intervention will be cost as followings:



 Visual art exhibition:
    Exhibition will be ranged from 40000 USD to 80000 USD

 Awareness theatre performance
    Awareness theatre performance will be ranged from 50000 USD to
   100000 USD
