                             USING THIS MANUAL
This manual has been developed in order to enable you, the agency, to access support
funds for projects and programs.

The manual quickly demonstrates that the size of the Foundation varies greatly, with
some offering great sums of money and others offering smaller amounts.

Each listed foundation is organized as follows

                                      AGENCY NAME
                                      Agency address
                                         PURPOSE:

Approx. Total Assets, Approx. Annual Grants, Fiscal Year End: Date

The foundations are not noted in any particular order.

It is suggested that you review the manual noting when the foundation will accept your
proposal. If you wish to access funds quickly, then do not send your proposal to a
foundation that only accepts submissions months from now.

Thank you for requesting the manual and the best of luck with your submissions.

Please note that a listing of a foundation should not be seen as an endorsement
by S.W.A.T. of the foundation or service club or a recommendation for an agency
                               to submit a proposal.

Utilization of the manual should not be seen as an endorsement of the agency
submitting proposals to any or all foundations or service clubs.

The preparation of this manual in no way results in financial gain for S.W.A.T.
and has been prepared solely as a means to enable agencies to be aware of
                         sources of financial assistance.

  • 2. 1 USING THIS MANUAL This manual has been developed in order to enable you, the agency, to access support funds for projects and programs. The manual quickly demonstrates that the size of the Foundation varies greatly, with some offering great sums of money and others offering smaller amounts. Each listed foundation is organized as follows AGENCY NAME Agency address PURPOSE: A statement noting why they were established. INTERESTS: A listing of those areas that they express concern and wish your application to address. Some will list an extensive number of issues and others will only note all social concerns PROCEDURE: How to apply and when AREA PREFERRED: City, region country and or province. Some U.S. foundations are noted if they also serve Canada FINANCIAL DATA: Approx. Total Assets, Approx. Annual Grants, Fiscal Year End: Date The foundations are not noted in any particular order. It is suggested that you review the manual noting when the foundation will accept your proposal. If you wish to access funds quickly, then do not send your proposal to a foundation that only accepts submissions months from now. Thank you for requesting the manual and the best of luck with your submissions. Please note that a listing of a foundation should not be seen as an endorsement by S.W.A.T. of the foundation or service club or a recommendation for an agency to submit a proposal. Utilization of the manual should not be seen as an endorsement of the agency submitting proposals to any or all foundations or service clubs. The preparation of this manual in no way results in financial gain for S.W.A.T. and has been prepared solely as a means to enable agencies to be aware of sources of financial assistance.
