- 2. There are students who do well during classroom assignments but get nervous when writing final exams, causing their minds to go blank. Some other students don’t attend class regularly and can receive passing grades as easily as the others. In cases such as this, it is obvious that they have crammed. This does not truly measure their level of knowledge.

- Exam testing is the most frequently used means of evaluating student ability and performance.Exams can cause many of us to be frustrated, irritable, anxious, or even blank out during exam time
- In these cases, the final exam didn't accurately measure the level of knowledge the students possessed at the time it was written.
- ROTE MEMORIZATIONrepetition from memory, often without meaning, rote memorization is not only inefficient but it discourages learners from actively thinking

The teacher will collect the journals periodically and provide feedback to the students. After they have completed their research, the students will prepare an oral presentation to present to the class explaining their research. The main component of this project will be the oral production of the target language.Portfolios Portfolios allow students to compile their work over a period of time. The students will have a checklist and rubric along with the assignment description. The students will assemble their best work, including their drafts so that the teacher can assess the process
- Learning how to think independently and creatively is probably one of the most valuable tools the educational institution can transmit. Advantages far outweigh the disadvantages, this is why in my opinion PBA is the best alternative and should be implemented as the preferred choice for assessing students abilities and understanding. I believe its time to say good bye to final exams.
