The Bengal tiger lives in the tropical forests and grasslands of India and Bangladesh. It has white fur with black stripes and grows very large, up to 2.8 meters long and 272 kg. The Bengal tiger primarily preys on deer, cattle, and buffalo in the forests and grasslands. Females care for cubs alone after mating in springtime.
