Es ist ein weit verbreiteter Irrglaube, dass JavaScript und Barrierefreiheit sich ausschließen würden. Assistive Technologien können sehr wohl mit JavaScript umgehen. Richtig angewandt, kann JavaScript nicht nur zugänglich sein, sondern sogar helfen, Barrieren weiter zu reduzieren. Man muss aber einige Regeln dabei beachten.
