LIVE is a framework that helps data publishers verify license compatibility between datasets and the vocabularies used to model the datasets. It takes as input a dataset URI or VOID file, retrieves the licenses of the vocabularies used in the dataset, and the licenses of the dataset. It then uses defeasible logic to check compatibility between the licenses and returns yes/no answers. LIVE has a user interface and was able to verify license compatibility for 70% of test datasets in under 5 seconds.
