• This course introduces students to the healthcare system with
emphasis on the elements of primary health care.
• The course examines the role and function of the physician in
the delivery of primary health care to adults and families from
diverse backgrounds.
• It will help in preparing you as a community- oriented physician
capable of anticipating and responding to community health
needs within the primary health care (PHC) setting according to
guidelines of the Ministry of Health (MOH).
