7. Noteworthy… Evernoteand Dropboxare often introduced together (through personal experience as well as through online learning communities) as if they were two sides of the same coin. Although the two are often linked, after downloading and trying both, I find that they are both useful apps, and that they both have specific, but different purposes. The key to the success of both is the ability to seamlessly sync to multiple mobile and handheld devices, regardless of type or platform.

Benefits to Learning – EVERNOTE After evaluation, following are thoughts on incorporating use of these apps in learning: EVERNOTE – excellent take-along productivity tool of students for note-taking on any device and sharing contents of account with other. Examples: collaborative learning activities, planning, graphics sharing, journaling, brainstorming.

9. Benefits to Learning - Dropbox After evaluation, following are thoughts on incorporating use of these apps in learning: DROPBOX– excellent way to share files/documents online. Within the Dropbox “Public” folder individual files can be shared (rather than entire Public folder). Examples: collaborative, easy online file sharing.
