INTRODUCTION
The only worldwide Education Project which has had the biggest impact on our Society so far, has been Wikipedia. In January 2001 Wikipedia
was founded and 17 years later nothing has really changed since it went online. It looks and functions exactly the same way as it did 17 years ago.
In 2010, myself and some friends started thinking about new concepts on how to organize the World knowledge. What would be a good system
to share knowledge with millions of other people? How can I customize knowledge in such a way that it reflects my needs. People learn in
different ways. Some prefer text, some images and others videos, mind maps etc.
Knowledge nowadays is spread chaotically all over the World Wide Web and it makes it very difficult to find it and make sense of it. We spend
countless hours organising knowledge in Windows folders, cloud drives, browser folders etc.
For many years, after countless hours of developing and shredding many concepts, we finally managed to develop a Concept that we believe will
be the next step in the Education worldwide. A Concept of how a Digital Library of the Future can be. This Concept is as easy to use as building
with Lego Blocks. After years of testing it with different age groups, we are ready to take the next steps and develop the full concept with all its
necessary features. By the way, MOX stands for Made of X. A Knowledge Block is Made of X (number) of other Blocks (explained later).
THE FOUNDER
George Papa has lived and worked in 13 countries (Germany, Albania, USA,
Rwanda, Ireland, Haiti, Australia, Burundi, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Kosovo, UK,
South Africa). He studied Architecture in Dresden, Germany and specialised some
years later in Project Management. George has founded startups, has failed and
succeeded, was rich and poor, depressed and full of optimism, got married at 18,
became father at 19, has 4 kids, divorced after 20 years marriage, wanted to take
his life but settled a court case against a huge company. Worked as interpreter for
the German Criminal Bureau of Investigation but managed to keep his sanity. He
wrote some books. Survived the civil war in South Sudan. Got Malaria in Rwanda
but escaped Hepatitis E in the refugee camps of Ethiopia. He has had it all. Good
and bad. Is crazy enough to think he can have a big impact on this world. This is

THE CONCEPT
Every person has Knowledge in some form or another. This knowledge can be broken into the simplest fact (we call it block). For example H
stands in Chemistry for Hydrogen, O for Oxygen etc. Different people know different facts. They put each fact in a box we call Block.

There are always people out there who know more then you do in your field or another. New Knowledge always builds on top of already existing
Knowledge. The problem we have is how do we find the people who have what we need and how do we link their knowledge to ours. Let us
continue with the example above and assume we met two other people who knew a bit more and they put our Blocks together and created a new
Block with more information in it. Before I only knew what Hydrogen is and now I know what Water is. And what Gypsum is.

Facts alone are not enough to give us a picture of the Knowledge we want to gain. We need to know how this facts are related to each other. We
need a logical system behind it that connects the facts in useful knowledge. Knowing that a car has a body, engine, wheels and seats is not going
to be enough to help you build a car because you need to know how they relate to each other and in what order you should start building. In our
Concept this characteristic is called a Knowledge Map.

What we explained above with some very simple facts from the Chemistry field, can be applied to any Knowledge Field in the World. For more
complex knowledge. For example from the Construction Field. We have 4 engineers who have extensive knowledge about sand, gravel, water
and cement.

Then we have a fifth and sixth person who have extended knowledge on the combinations of those Knowledge Blocks. It takes over 2000
Engineers to design an Aeroplane. They all are specialised in different fields. In our example we have the Concrete Engineers.

And behind the mixing of Concrete there are different systems or processes. A Map on how the Knowledge Blocks relate to each other. The
Knowledge Block concept is based on the same pattern like the Human brain works. The human being collects bits of informations / facts and it
arranges it in a system that makes sense to that person's brain. This is the reason this Concept is so intuitive because it imitates your brain.

THE PROTOTYPE
MOX Concept is already fully developed and it has been tested as a concept. It works! The current Prototype lacks 2 major features, is very slow
and has many bugs. It can not handle heavy traffic. It is already online under: ​http://mox.education/​. Several coders have helped so far. But to
develop the full Prototype with the most important basic features, a lot more work is needed. The code for the project is Open Source on GitHub
under: ​ttps://github.com/moxeducation/MOX.Education​. In the next pages I will explain what a fully functional Website should look like:
This is what a Knowledge Block looks like. It contains only one Media (video, pdf, image, text, website)
A Linked Knowledge Block contains other Blocks created by the User or Blocks created by other Users.

  • 3. INTRODUCTION The only worldwide Education Project which has had the biggest impact on our Society so far, has been Wikipedia. In January 2001 Wikipedia was founded and 17 years later nothing has really changed since it went online. It looks and functions exactly the same way as it did 17 years ago. In 2010, myself and some friends started thinking about new concepts on how to organize the World knowledge. What would be a good system to share knowledge with millions of other people? How can I customize knowledge in such a way that it reflects my needs. People learn in different ways. Some prefer text, some images and others videos, mind maps etc. Knowledge nowadays is spread chaotically all over the World Wide Web and it makes it very difficult to find it and make sense of it. We spend countless hours organising knowledge in Windows folders, cloud drives, browser folders etc. For many years, after countless hours of developing and shredding many concepts, we finally managed to develop a Concept that we believe will be the next step in the Education worldwide. A Concept of how a Digital Library of the Future can be. This Concept is as easy to use as building with Lego Blocks. After years of testing it with different age groups, we are ready to take the next steps and develop the full concept with all its necessary features. By the way, MOX stands for Made of X. A Knowledge Block is Made of X (number) of other Blocks (explained later). THE FOUNDER George Papa has lived and worked in 13 countries (Germany, Albania, USA, Rwanda, Ireland, Haiti, Australia, Burundi, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Kosovo, UK, South Africa). He studied Architecture in Dresden, Germany and specialised some years later in Project Management. George has founded startups, has failed and succeeded, was rich and poor, depressed and full of optimism, got married at 18, became father at 19, has 4 kids, divorced after 20 years marriage, wanted to take his life but settled a court case against a huge company. Worked as interpreter for the German Criminal Bureau of Investigation but managed to keep his sanity. He wrote some books. Survived the civil war in South Sudan. Got Malaria in Rwanda but escaped Hepatitis E in the refugee camps of Ethiopia. He has had it all. Good and bad. Is crazy enough to think he can have a big impact on this world.   • 5. THE CONCEPT Every person has Knowledge in some form or another. This knowledge can be broken into the simplest fact (we call it block). For example H stands in Chemistry for Hydrogen, O for Oxygen etc. Different people know different facts. They put each fact in a box we call Block. 5
  • 6. There are always people out there who know more then you do in your field or another. New Knowledge always builds on top of already existing Knowledge. The problem we have is how do we find the people who have what we need and how do we link their knowledge to ours. Let us continue with the example above and assume we met two other people who knew a bit more and they put our Blocks together and created a new Block with more information in it. Before I only knew what Hydrogen is and now I know what Water is. And what Gypsum is. 6
  • 7. Facts alone are not enough to give us a picture of the Knowledge we want to gain. We need to know how this facts are related to each other. We need a logical system behind it that connects the facts in useful knowledge. Knowing that a car has a body, engine, wheels and seats is not going to be enough to help you build a car because you need to know how they relate to each other and in what order you should start building. In our Concept this characteristic is called a Knowledge Map. 7
  • 8. What we explained above with some very simple facts from the Chemistry field, can be applied to any Knowledge Field in the World. For more complex knowledge. For example from the Construction Field. We have 4 engineers who have extensive knowledge about sand, gravel, water and cement. 8
  • 9. Then we have a fifth and sixth person who have extended knowledge on the combinations of those Knowledge Blocks. It takes over 2000 Engineers to design an Aeroplane. They all are specialised in different fields. In our example we have the Concrete Engineers. 9
  • 10. And behind the mixing of Concrete there are different systems or processes. A Map on how the Knowledge Blocks relate to each other. The Knowledge Block concept is based on the same pattern like the Human brain works. The human being collects bits of informations / facts and it arranges it in a system that makes sense to that person's brain. This is the reason this Concept is so intuitive because it imitates your brain. 10
  • 11. THE PROTOTYPE MOX Concept is already fully developed and it has been tested as a concept. It works! The current Prototype lacks 2 major features, is very slow and has many bugs. It can not handle heavy traffic. It is already online under: ​http://mox.education/​. Several coders have helped so far. But to develop the full Prototype with the most important basic features, a lot more work is needed. The code for the project is Open Source on GitHub under: ​ttps://github.com/moxeducation/MOX.Education​. In the next pages I will explain what a fully functional Website should look like: This is what a Knowledge Block looks like. It contains only one Media (video, pdf, image, text, website) A Linked Knowledge Block contains other Blocks created by the User or Blocks created by other Users. 11
