I am a professor at Texas Tech University and Director of Graduate Studies in Charitable Planning within the Division of Personal Financial Planning. After having spent many years as a planned giving officer, estate planning attorney, and college president, I now focus my efforts in researching charitable giving, often focusing on charitable bequests. My research on charitable giving has been published in academic journals in fields such as economics, sociology, and public administration. I will post both academic and practitioner presentations.
