INSPIRE AND TRANSFORM
E-portfolios will benefit our pupils in many ways such as: Increasing collaborative learning through safe social networking Improving parental engagement by encouraging pupils to use their e-portfolio to show their work to their parents Complementing our VLE with a more creative, personalised learning tool Improving pupils’ ICT skills by seamlessly integrating ICT into all their subjects INSPIRE AND TRANSFORM

Recognising Achievement INSPIRE AND TRANSFORM ,[object Object],[object Object]
INSPIRE AND TRANSFORM Using e-portfolios to record achievement Staff in an associated schools group are developing e-portfolios to record achievement across a range of contexts. The portfolio includes personal targets and goals, is updated regularly and is used in conversations between the learner and various staff to discuss progression. Learners add their own pages to reflect and showcase their learning, using photographs of completed work and other relevant evidence. The e-portfolio also contains a selection of relevant resources made available as web links and learners can add further links to their site. The  e-portfolio is supported by tutorial time  set aside for learner groups. Learners are able to  forward the e-portfolio link to potential employers and other learning providers . Learners are developing greater understanding of their learning, and gaining self confidence. They are also  developing their skills in reflection and evaluation  as well as self management and taking responsibility for their learning.
