ABOUT KEILLAR RESOURCING LTD
    Keillar Resourcing is an award-winning specialist in the field of financial services
    recruitment.

    Our success is based on our determination to add value to the recruitment process in an over-
    arching ethical manner. This involves ensuring that we understand the needs of both clients
    and candidates and giving real, unbiased advice. As a result of our commitments to service, we
    have received numerous industry awards and the majority of our candidates now come to us
    via referral.

    We recruit on behalf of the major life and investment companies, as well as private banks and
    private client firms. We have recruited into all of the UK's financial centres and we regularly
    recruit for overseas positions in locations such as the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man,
    Continental Europe, the Middle East, Far East and Australasia.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS –
Candidate Attraction


    The majority of our candidates and clients come to us via recommendation. We also identify
    further candidates from a number of sources: our existing candidate bank, web advertising,
    specific local advertisements, personal contacts within the careers services, CFA, CISI and
    universities.

    Keillar has an extensive national and international database of experienced candidates, which

RECRUITMENT PROCESS –
Registration and Interview

    All candidates who contact Keillar Resourcing and are subsequently registered with us receive
    an acknowledgement. In short, this confirms the following:



   Our ‘Commitment to Candidates’, including details of Keillar Resourcing procedures and
    confirmation of our adherence to Data Protection Act

   Contact methods

   An optional ‘homework’ document, to ascertain more detail regarding the candidate and their
    ideal role sought



    All candidates are interviewed by a consultant at Keillar Resourcing – these interviews can be
    telephone based, but we prefer to carry out face to face interviews where this is feasible.
    Candidates are questioned regarding their background, their reasons for leaving and other,
    more imaginative questions. These could include ‘imagine if we fast forwarded three months
    and you were offered a role, what would your manager say?’

    the externally validated examinations of the recruitment profession's trade body, the

EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY POLICY

Keillar Resourcing embraces diversity and seeks to promote diversity in all of
its business activities. All employees have signed their agreement to work in
accordance with Keillar’s Diversity Policy, a copy of which can be provided as
requested.

We are here to ensure that the best people are put forward for a role, and provided that they are
eligible to work in the UK, suitability is the main criterion as no other considerations are taken into
account. Last year we successfully recruited a 60 year old to a sales role in Kent, and a Ukrainian to
a sales support role in London.

Personally, Harris has battled prejudice over a large number of years and has successfully recruited:
    a 52 year old when the client originally requested someone under 35
    a Bengali to an investment role in Edinburgh when it was made very clear that they only
     wanted Caucasians
    the first ever female broker consultant to one of the medium sized life offices

Sonia Wilson (Office Manager) recently attended an age discrimination seminar run by the
Recruitment and Employment Confederation to ensure that we are also fully compliant with age
discrimination legislation.

THE KEILLAR TEAM


Harris Keillar
Managing Director
Harris has thirty years' recruitment experience, with the majority being within financial
services. MBA qualified, he was a director with one of the large nationals prior to opening Keillar
Resourcing in 1996. Much of his time is spent advising clients and candidates on their career options
and assisting client companies with their expansion plans. Successful placements have included
Head of Sales for Asia, Senior Underwriter in Sydney, Head of Sales for asset management
houses and a multi-lingual Head of Marketing for an offshore office. Harris is Fellow of both the
Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and the Institute of Recruitment Professionals. All
Keillar Resourcing employees pride themselves on operating in a highly ethical way, treating
candidates and clients with integrity at all times.

Paul Mullarkey
Consultant
Paul has worked in financial services for over 15 years, initially as a broker consultant within life and
asset management and latterly as an IFA, giving him a great deal of insight into both sides of the
market. Paul is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), holds the Investment Management Certificate
(IMC) and is now studying towards his Diploma in Recruitment Practice. Having joined Keillar in
2011, Paul is a key account manager looking after UK life and investment companies and he also
recruits advisers into IFA and wealth management roles.

THE KEILLAR TEAM


David Hill, Chartered MCSI
Having previously worked for Brewin Dolphin and Barclays Wealth, David entered recruitment in
1997. As an ‘Executive Recruiter’, his focus is on ‘buy side’ recruitment, covering investment and
wealth management assignments across the UK and overseas. Assignments have included
investment management, investment research, discretionary and intermediary sales, marketing,
product development and risk management. Clients have encompassed global providers, boutiques
and regional firms, offering both traditional and alternative products.
David is a Chartered Member of the Securities Institute, having passed the Securities Institute
Diploma, the IMC and the Financial Planning Certificate.

Gary Strachan
Consultant
Gary moved into recruitment shortly after graduating from Aberdeen University and joined Keillar
Resourcing at the beginning of 2007. Working as a recruitment consultant, he trained under the
     more
experienced consultants, taking a brief foray into hiring on the bancassurance front with an affiliated
outsourcer.

  • 10. THE KEILLAR TEAM Harris Keillar Managing Director Harris has thirty years' recruitment experience, with the majority being within financial services. MBA qualified, he was a director with one of the large nationals prior to opening Keillar Resourcing in 1996. Much of his time is spent advising clients and candidates on their career options and assisting client companies with their expansion plans. Successful placements have included Head of Sales for Asia, Senior Underwriter in Sydney, Head of Sales for asset management houses and a multi-lingual Head of Marketing for an offshore office. Harris is Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and the Institute of Recruitment Professionals. All Keillar Resourcing employees pride themselves on operating in a highly ethical way, treating candidates and clients with integrity at all times. Paul Mullarkey Consultant Paul has worked in financial services for over 15 years, initially as a broker consultant within life and asset management and latterly as an IFA, giving him a great deal of insight into both sides of the market. Paul is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and is now studying towards his Diploma in Recruitment Practice. Having joined Keillar in 2011, Paul is a key account manager looking after UK life and investment companies and he also recruits advisers into IFA and wealth management roles. 10
  • 11. THE KEILLAR TEAM David Hill, Chartered MCSI Having previously worked for Brewin Dolphin and Barclays Wealth, David entered recruitment in 1997. As an ‘Executive Recruiter’, his focus is on ‘buy side’ recruitment, covering investment and wealth management assignments across the UK and overseas. Assignments have included investment management, investment research, discretionary and intermediary sales, marketing, product development and risk management. Clients have encompassed global providers, boutiques and regional firms, offering both traditional and alternative products. David is a Chartered Member of the Securities Institute, having passed the Securities Institute Diploma, the IMC and the Financial Planning Certificate. Gary Strachan Consultant Gary moved into recruitment shortly after graduating from Aberdeen University and joined Keillar Resourcing at the beginning of 2007. Working as a recruitment consultant, he trained under the more experienced consultants, taking a brief foray into hiring on the bancassurance front with an affiliated outsourcer. 11
