This document outlines an assignment for a sports public relations class at the University of Cincinnati. Students will work in groups of two to create marketing plans to promote an upcoming home game for the Cincinnati Kings indoor soccer team. Plans will focus on social media, on-campus promotion, and off-campus efforts to reach a minimum of 200 people. Fifteen ideas will be selected and assigned to teams, who must implement their plans on November 16th and provide proof of their efforts. Later, students will draft a one-page press conference overview and present in class to simulate a media event.
