You can immediately see that the target audience is
aimed for young people, through its colorfulness and
how the advertisement is done which is in a cartoon style
so young people are interested in it (cinematography)
Furthermore, they have used a midshot to capture all the
sweets are kept, this is because most parents put the
sweets in the top of the cupboard so the children are
unable to reach them, doing this will make the kids have
a relatable connection towards the advert
Furthermore, the sentence at the bottom of the screen is also relatable because kids love sweets so this will convince them
into liking the advert and having more of a connection feeling towards the advertisement. Furthermore, the text is simple,
bold and yellow making it really easy and simple to understand and read
Another thing they have added in the advertisement in how simple and fun they have made the cereal & sweets look for the
children, with it being simple, colourful and fun, the kids's eyes are glued to it, grasping their attention
From first glance kids can simply identify that the sugars are
evil, and their faces are all shown as evil grabbing the children's
attention, gluing their attention to the advertisement to further
make them listen to the advertisement more
The sugars cubes are appealing to the children doing this is a
great idea because it grabs the kid's attention because the
cubes are portrayed as mischievous and bad so that makes the
kids attention grasp
They have used a mid-close up shot to gather everything in the shot, which is probably the best shot type to be taken in this,
this is because a midchat gets all the cereals and sweets in the shot, as well as the sugars cubes
Another good thing about the sugars cubes is that it shows them coming out of all the sweets foreshadowing that the sugar
cubes are bad and are all in the things the kids like
Direct address and using pronouns to get the audience on board
and include them in what they're talking about blah blah blah blah
Having the sugar cubes on the screen is the best way to address what the bad things are about sugar, so kids will likely ask what
"type 2 diabetes" are and then the parents will be able to tell them exactly what it is. Doing this is probably the best way to be able
to explain to children that eating too much sugars is really bad.
They’ve used a mid-shot getting all three cubes in to best demonstrate by their faces that they are presented as evil and could be a
message to the parents that there is a lot more sugars in the sweets, they eat with there being more than one sugar cube in the
shot
In this part of the advertisement, it is to show what you could get children that is healthier for them and can
potentially taste better even with less fat stuff in
The camera angle that is used to present the healthy foods in good way, the figure is presented as holding them like
rewards / trophies. Furthermore, with the smile on her face it makes an even better selling point showing that they
are good and can bring a smile to your face, indicating they are just as good as the unhealthy ones
Having the word easy can make the children who watch this happy showing it's not difficult to lose fat as a child and
they can eat things that taste nice and that have less calories and fats in them
Showing these is a simple way to show children that the stuff they have regularly on a daily basis is unhealthy. Visually
doing this is the best way because the target audience this is aimed at, the kids don’t really want to read so having visual
things they can simply identify and understand that its bad is the best way that could have been taken for this
advertisement.
The quote that is used "with lower-sugar swaps on the things we eat every day" shows that a lot of children will eat the
fatty food because they crave the sugar and taste, so being able to swap them with low sugar ones is a big life changer with
health and they can eventually grow to enjoy the low-fat stuff more than the full fat things
What they have also done that’s good, is showing by the sugar cubes how much bad fats and sugars are in these, for
example there is a lot of sugars in orange juice but not compared to the cereal. Furthermore, its just saying that you really
shouldn’t always be eating these especially at a young age because they become addicting
These parts of the advent are good because although it’s the low-fat ones, they have maintained the fun look, they still look
fun, enjoyable and eye opening, they still make you want them basically presenting to the children they are still good to have.
Furthermore, if they didn’t look fun and just dull it would make the advertisement less successful and also make the children
just not want to change because they don’t want boring, they thrive on fun, and this maintains it.
Also showing that they still look good, there isn't any sugar cubes which will make their target audience approve and want
change, basically making them excited, thinking there isn't any sugar and still look good and not gain a lot of unhealthy fats
Having the wheat biscuits is a great example because children will read biscuit and already want it, especially with having it
with fruits they possibly like and having all green on the bottom left which shows fats and sugars, they will be used to seeing
red or yellow, so seeing green they will want it more knowing its healthy
The yellow in this really catches your attention, yellow is also represented as happy so to have the colour yellow for this is
perfect and to also have the things to look out for just makes it that bit better, you could also be getting kids into asking
you for them next time you shop.
Make a swap when you next shop is a good motto to have, its simple and easy to remember, making it easier for the
parents to get different things and potentially get it into kids heads to change what they want to get that is full fat and
could change it.
The change for life with the thumbs up is also a really good thing too showing that it's good to embrace change in your
foods but as well as your mental and physical heath too that these can have a huge impact on, but they are unaware of

Furthermore, the text is simple, bold and yellow making it really easy and simple to understand and read Another thing they have added in the advertisement in how simple and fun they have made the cereal & sweets look for the children, with it being simple, colourful and fun, the kids's eyes are glued to it, grasping their attention

From first glance kids can simply identify that the sugars are evil, and their faces are all shown as evil grabbing the children's attention, gluing their attention to the advertisement to further make them listen to the advertisement more The sugars cubes are appealing to the children doing this is a great idea because it grabs the kid's attention because the cubes are portrayed as mischievous and bad so that makes the kids attention grasp They have used a mid-close up shot to gather everything in the shot, which is probably the best shot type to be taken in this, this is because a midchat gets all the cereals and sweets in the shot, as well as the sugars cubes Another good thing about the sugars cubes is that it shows them coming out of all the sweets foreshadowing that the sugar cubes are bad and are all in the things the kids like

Direct address and using pronouns to get the audience on board and include them in what they're talking about blah blah blah blah Having the sugar cubes on the screen is the best way to address what the bad things are about sugar, so kids will likely ask what "type 2 diabetes" are and then the parents will be able to tell them exactly what it is. Doing this is probably the best way to be able to explain to children that eating too much sugars is really bad. They’ve used a mid-shot getting all three cubes in to best demonstrate by their faces that they are presented as evil and could be a message to the parents that there is a lot more sugars in the sweets, they eat with there being more than one sugar cube in the shot

In this part of the advertisement, it is to show what you could get children that is healthier for them and can potentially taste better even with less fat stuff in The camera angle that is used to present the healthy foods in good way, the figure is presented as holding them like rewards / trophies. Furthermore, with the smile on her face it makes an even better selling point showing that they are good and can bring a smile to your face, indicating they are just as good as the unhealthy ones Having the word easy can make the children who watch this happy showing it's not difficult to lose fat as a child and they can eat things that taste nice and that have less calories and fats in them
  • 6. Showing these is a simple way to show children that the stuff they have regularly on a daily basis is unhealthy. Visually doing this is the best way because the target audience this is aimed at, the kids don’t really want to read so having visual things they can simply identify and understand that its bad is the best way that could have been taken for this advertisement. The quote that is used "with lower-sugar swaps on the things we eat every day" shows that a lot of children will eat the fatty food because they crave the sugar and taste, so being able to swap them with low sugar ones is a big life changer with health and they can eventually grow to enjoy the low-fat stuff more than the full fat things What they have also done that’s good, is showing by the sugar cubes how much bad fats and sugars are in these, for example there is a lot of sugars in orange juice but not compared to the cereal. Furthermore, its just saying that you really shouldn’t always be eating these especially at a young age because they become addicting

These parts of the advent are good because although it’s the low-fat ones, they have maintained the fun look, they still look fun, enjoyable and eye opening, they still make you want them basically presenting to the children they are still good to have. Furthermore, if they didn’t look fun and just dull it would make the advertisement less successful and also make the children just not want to change because they don’t want boring, they thrive on fun, and this maintains it. Also showing that they still look good, there isn't any sugar cubes which will make their target audience approve and want change, basically making them excited, thinking there isn't any sugar and still look good and not gain a lot of unhealthy fats Having the wheat biscuits is a great example because children will read biscuit and already want it, especially with having it with fruits they possibly like and having all green on the bottom left which shows fats and sugars, they will be used to seeing red or yellow, so seeing green they will want it more knowing its healthy

The yellow in this really catches your attention, yellow is also represented as happy so to have the colour yellow for this is perfect and to also have the things to look out for just makes it that bit better, you could also be getting kids into asking you for them next time you shop. Make a swap when you next shop is a good motto to have, its simple and easy to remember, making it easier for the parents to get different things and potentially get it into kids heads to change what they want to get that is full fat and could change it. The change for life with the thumbs up is also a really good thing too showing that it's good to embrace change in your foods but as well as your mental and physical heath too that these can have a huge impact on, but they are unaware of
