32. What Are Zinc Whiskers?
Tiny growths
These form on the surfaces of objects
that are electroplated, or galvanized,
with zinc.
When present on circuit boards:
Can cause short circuits
that are difficult to diagnose.
The frequent movement of air and cables being installed or

Particles disintegrate when a short circuit occurs
