Skateboarding has traditionally been seen as an activity confined to skateparks, but a new collective called Sk8 Collective aims to change that perception. They organize skate sessions in unconventional public spaces around cities to bring skaters together and show that skateboarding belongs in any urban environment. The goal is to promote skateboarding as more than just an activity limited to skateparks and to help foster an inclusive community of skaters.
