2. A long time ago, in the land now known as Palestine, there lived
a just and righteous king called Talut. The people lived happily
under Talut’s rule. However, after some time, in the neighboring
kingdom, there emerged a tyrant ruler by the name Jalut.
3. At one time, Jalut and his army
launched an attack on their
neighbors and killed many of
them. Jalut himself was a huge
monster of a man and everyone
feared him.
4. In response, Talut organized his army and came out to defend his people against Jalut.

wolf which attacked our sheep?
7. One of the commanders heard this conversation and informed Talut about
what he had heard. When Talut heard this, he immediately asked that Dawud
should be brought to him so that he could see this brave young boy himself.
