Since 2017, Dallas’ booming manufacturing sector has helped add nearly
125,000 jobs. As a result, the city has welcomed 100,000 new residents in
the past 12 months. The influx of job seekers has increased the demand for
multifamily units, and developers are responding to the need by building a
record number of multifamily projects: 27,000 units will be finished by the
end of the year.
