1. How to calculate the size of flexible led screen?
we are making flexible LED display product which is composed of many small unit (I also name it
as cell, because it is the smallest unit which usually can not be divided again);
there are many unit connected together to make a larger panel, the panel size should not be too
large or too small, if too large, it is difficult to pack, transport and installation; if too small, it will
take a lot time to connect them together to make a larger screen, and it needs more cable and
connector for connection.
Many of such single panel can be connected together vertically and horizontally to make as a big
screen as you want.
If the panel size is not too large, the width and height can be reversed, which means the direction
can be changed, like a panel is 0.768m width, 6.144m height, we can change the direction as
6.144m width, 0.768m height, we just need to change the direction of the image through
software.
so the size of the single panel have its own rule:
Model: F-P6
unit size: 0.096 m width, 0.192m height ( 16 pixels x 32 pixels ), the size should be

About sending card:
3. The sending card of the LED screen is like a video card for PC, the sending card of the LED screen
copy ( or clone ) the video signal of the PC ( exactly from the video card) and convert the signal
which the LED display can recognize. Originally, the sending card is inserted in the PCI slot of the
desktop PC ( in fact the sending card just get DC5V power supply from PCI slot), now most of the
clients like external sending card because the client do not want to use desktop PC, they want to
connect laptop or other device. The sending card of the LED screen need DVI video source, so it
must connect with DVI port. If your PC have not DVI port but have HDMI port, you just need
DHMI to DVI cable which cost about USD 10 per pieces; but the VGA to DVI cable does not work if
you connect VGA port, because VGA signal is analog signals instead of digital signals. There is also
USB to DVI convertor which cost about USD 100 per pieces.
Controlling capacity: 1280×1024 pixels
Receiving card:
Receiving card works as a HUB that receive video signal from sending card and distribute the
signal to LED screen.
Receiving card and sending card is connected via LAN cable (RJ45 connector), we provide 10
meters LAN cable standard. With good quality LAN cable, the distance can be 50 meters. With
amplifier, the distance can be hundreds meters.
We have two type of receiving card, MINI receiving card have 4 output which can control 64
pixels, usually we install MINI receiving card on the LED panel direction, you just need to connect
each panel by LAN cable. Controlling capacity: 64 x 512 pixels
Another kind of receiving card have 12 outputs that can control 192 pixels (usually horizontally),
controlling capacity: 192 x 512 pixels.
About Power supply:
On the price list and parameter sheet, there is average power consumption for each model, like
model OM-F-P12, the average power consumption is 75W per square meter, but we need to
prepare the power according to the maximum power consumption, when the LED screen show
white color with highest 100% brightness, it will consume much power, so we need to prepare
two times power supply for the display, so for OM-F-P12, we need to prepare 150W power for
each square meter or a little more.
The same regulation, if the average power consumption of OM-HF-P10 is 160W per square meter,
so we need to prepare the power with 320W or a little more.
