Bernardo introduces the concept of a mixed reality living space, where modular furniture and digital immersion through sensors and software allow the physical space and digital overlays to interact and change based on actions within a 100 sq ft prototype space. The prototype demonstrates how original states can be altered through actions, and how inferences can be drawn about changes through feedback between the physical and digital elements.
