8. Application of Cucumber Sensor
• Other bio-sensors can detect or react to psi-related
signals even if such signals are generated from matter,
not only human.
• Cucumber sensors should be tested using psi-related
signals.
• Some innovators often ask me to measure their original
devices or items. They claim that their devices can emit
anomalous power which is similar to psi (ki).
For example:
1. Special drawings or patterns which are created by qigong masters.
2. CD disc, accessary, stone, etc. which are charged by healer’s
power.
3. Metal sticks, rods, and machines which are created in order to
emit artificial ki-power.

Special processing had been performed to the metal rod.

It meant that the metal rod had an anomalous property similar

The overall tendency of the calibrated J can be approximated

19. Meanings of This Phenomenon
This phenomenon occurs very
slow.
• Not easy to find it if researchers
expect a real-time response.
• Moreover, if a delayed effect of the
previous test has continued, we will
misunderstand results of a new test.
This phenomenon is considered to have 2
steps: charging and converting.
A person gives “energy (type X)” to the
pyramid, then pyramid converts it to
“energy (type Q)”.
Type Q energy can be detected by
cucumber sensor, but Type X energy can
not be detected. It means that 2 kinds (at
least) of “unknown” energy exist in our
universe.

20. Toward Future Study
• Matter has a property relating to psi essentially.
We should imagine a possibility that matter can generate
psi phenomena if we succeed to set suitable conditions in
the future.
• Psi phenomena have complex properties. However, some
properties seems to follow simple physical laws.
• There is a possibility that several kinds of “psi-energy” exist
in our universe. Such energies follow to their own physical
laws.
Thank you.

26. Concept of Bio-sensor
Classic methods are useful.
However, recent successful experiments are
designed to measure physiological responses of
bio-sensors.
For example,
• Presentiment experiments: Researchers measure skin
conductance change (SCC) of subjects.
• Staring experiments: Researchers measure EEG of
receivers.
• Telepathic experiments: Researchers measure brain
blood flow of receivers.
Researchers use human body as a kind of bio-sensors.

• The target biophotons is visual light from blue to green in
our system.
• These photons are considered to be generated by
reactive oxygen chiefly.
• The infrared biophotons are generated by various
functional groups of molecules chiefly.
1. Intensities of biophotons are different.
2. Time transitions of intensity of biophotons are different.
3. The most active areas are different.
We will get different information from samples if we
measure different wavelength (visual light vs. infrared ray).
56. Attention Please
Kokubo, H. 2010
• Please be careful to wavelength of the biophoton
sensor if you read reports.
• You should consider that the majority of data are
obtained from infrared ray if the sensor has
sensitivity for infrared ray even if it also has
sensitivity for visual light.
• Data of infrared ray differ from data of visual light.
• At least, in our laboratory, we have detected
anomalous effects for bio-sensor in only visual
light, not infrared ray.
57. A Pair of Samples
• Absolute values of bio-sensors are often different
extremely because standard deviation of bio-parameters,
such as length, weight, diameter, etc., are greater than
ones of common physical sensors. Therefore,
standardization of values are needed.
• One of way is use of ratio.
• If we make a pair of experimental and control samples, we
can calculate a ratio of experimental and control values.
• Therefore, I always make a pair of experimental and
control samples.

58. Logarithm of Ratio
• Ratio is useful if target value is larger than control value.
• However, ratio is not symmetric between the case that
target value becomes large and the case that target value
becomes small.
• Moreover, the absolute value of a ratio will not be the same
if we exchange denominator with numerator,
• These problems can be resolved if we use a logarithm
of the ratio.

Green Odor
67. Role of Biosynthesis of Green Odor
• Green odor is a kind of disinfectant.
• Biosynthesis of green odor is a kind of self-defense
mechanisms against illness and insects.
• All green plants have this mechanism.
• Therefore all green plants are useful as bio-sensors
theoretically.
• Cucumber is a good plants because of practical
reasons; shape and easiness of obtaining.
• In our methods, we use slice (injured) pieces of
cucumber and healers try to act on cucumber’s self-
defense. In this meaning, our methods are designed
as a model of clinical situations of healing.

84. Discussion 1: Wave-like Potential
1. Wave-like potential means a
Layer-structure which has
been claimed empirically.
2. Reverse-potential areas exist.
It suggests the importance of
direction and distance in
experiments.
Moreover, some kinds of psi-missing may be caused by
reverse-potential areas.
3. Bio-PK fields are cancelled if
they are interacted each other
at random. Therefore, psi is not
remarkable in our daily life.

4. Wave phenomena can cause tunneling phenomena.
Wave-like potential of psi suggests that psi can pass
through a wall like sounds can pass through a wall and
reach to outside of a room.
5. Approximated equations can be discussed. Now we have
discussed a differential equation following that,
Our interest is focused on a quantum harmonic oscillator
tentatively. It is one of possible models.

Pattern of Bio-PK Field and Healing Way
• The pattern of bio-PK field is considered as
depended on healing ways.
• There is a possibility that we can categorize
healing ways by their averaged patterns of
bio-PK field in future.
• Moreover, we may be able to estimate
healer’s degree of skills of controlling power
through stability of his pattern.

Term and Place
Experimental trials were done in 2012 from February 27
to March 30 and June 30 to August at the IRI.
Participants
Practitioners of non-contact healing (energy medicine
type) (2 males, 9 females; average age was 44.1 y).
They had training and experience in Reiki, various
spiritual healing methods (Transformational Healing,
Craniosacral Biodynamics, Quantum Touch, etc.), and
qigong, as well as experience in their own ways.
The major ways were their own ways at that time.
Self-judgment of the grade of their skills was given as Level
A (beginner) and B (veteran).

117. Discussion - 1
Correspondence analysis showed similar results. It is
considered to support the present results. However, the
present study is our first attempt to analyze relationships
among healing ways and response patterns of bio-sensors.
There are several problems which should be resolved.
• Both H- and CL-items are 26 items each. 30 data
is smaller than them. More data are needed.
• Some questionnaire items should be improved.
• There is a possibility that significant relationships
may be found among items which were judged as
having no relationship in the present study if we
collect more data and expand the range of our
discussion in the future.
118. Concept “Bio-PK”
The present study shows that different healing ways exist.
The reasons for differences of mechanisms or properties are
considered as:
(1) Target parts or biochemical reaction systems are different.
(2) Their physical mechanisms differ, for example, sound
waves and electromagnetic waves are different physical
phenomena.
(3) Properties of healing “actions” differ just like Rock 'n' Roll
music differs from classic music.
We cannot judge those possibilities at present.
However, we need an assumption that some kinds of bio-PK
phenomena have different physical mechanisms.
119. Toward Future Study
Biophysical study has suggested possibilities that,
• There are several kinds of unknown factors
(energies) which relates to psi phenomena.
• Those factors seem to follow to own physical laws.
• Psi phenomena consist of several unknown
factors. It is the reason that psi phenomena are
complex and often seem to transcend the modern
physics apparently.
• These factors can be measured if we succeed to
develop suitable technologies.
