         Universal Health Services, Inc. is one of the

largest and most experienced hospital management

companies in the nation. We have focused our efforts

on managing acute care hospitals, behavioral health

hospitals, and ambulatory surgery and radiation

oncology centers.

         We believe hospitals will remain the focal point

of the health care delivery system. We have built our

success by remaining committed to a program of rational

growth around our core businesses and seeking
