Intelligent AlarmAnyone who works with older adults knows that they want to be in control of their situation whenever possible, as all of us do. Lifeline with AutoAlert was designed with this in mind. The AutoAlert pendant has an “Intelligent Alarm” which means that when a fall is detected, AutoAlert waits 30 seconds allowing the subscriber time to recover and get up on their own. It gives them the control they want to help themselves if they can, and avoid any embarrassment in getting help from others. After 30 seconds, if the individual has not gotten up, the AutoAlert pendant sends a signal to the Lifeline communicator which then seizes the telephone line and initiates a call to the Lifeline Response Center just like when they push their button. At this point, the subscriber experiences the excellent service that has made Lifeline the leading medical alert service provider. As you heard earlier, our response time is very rapid. A Lifeline Associate speaks to the subscriber over the speakerphone of the communicator asking if they need help and following help-call protocols.Just as with all of Lifeline’s products, Lifeline with AutoAlert is designed for the senior; the pendant is lightweight and waterproof and is as comfortable as the standard pendant-style help button.Once again, the AutoAlert option is available ONLY from Lifeline; no other medical alert service has this extra layer of protection.Conclude slide: Lifeline has often been described as a safety net for older adults. Lifeline with AutoAlert is by far our safest service for any older adult who is at risk for falls.
