Difference:
Simple present= habitual actions, daily routines, facts.
Exp:
She comes to class 5 minutes earlier, every day.
He goes to office every day.
Present continuous= actions that are happening right now.
Exp: We are writing a letter right now.
Formation:
Simple present: {Subject + verb} (They go, She works)
Present continuous: {Subject + be + verb + ing} (She is working)

Exp:

Formation of Wh-questions in present continuous:
{(Wh-question) + be + subject + verb + ing?}
