Content Standard:
1.1 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to pronounce
words and speak confidently with the correct stress, rhythm and intonation.
1.2 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to listen and
respond appropriately in formal and informal situations for a variety of purposes
4.1 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to enjoy and
appreciate rhymes, poems and songs.
2. Learning Standard:
1.1.2 Able to listen to and enjoy songs.
1.1.3 Able to listen to and sing songs paying attention to pronunciation, rhythm and
intonation.

Learning objectives: Pupils should be able to differentiate and recognize at least 3 local
fruits out of the 5 fruits from the given pictures on the whiteboard.
Educational Emphases: Contextual Learning, Knowledge Acquisition, and
Creativity and Innovation.
Previous Knowledge: Pupils are familiar with the existence of local fruits
around them and some of them have experienced eating them.
Moral Values:
1. Showing appreciation to the varieties of local fruits.
2. Pupils are able to know about the importance and benefits of consuming local
fruits.
3. Learn the uniqueness of having different types of fruits.
4. Teach the pupils to feel proud to be Malaysians for its uniqueness.
Teaching Materials:
1. A video showing the ‘Fruits’ action song.
2. Several pictures showing the fruits for the pupils.
3. Manila card, A4 papers, scissors and marker pen.
