4. Personal Learning Preferences (Continued)
 As a verbal learner, I do love to summaries and
outlines my course material in my own words, and
this learning preference did help me in getting
decent scores for my course. For example, I usually
color code the main words or important sentences
first, and then I summaries the idea in my own
understanding. Also, learning from this class,
technologies such as podcasts, game/mmogs, and
other multimedia can help to learning. I enjoy
playing the flash card because it helps me to
mesmerize my HTM major terminologies in an easy
and interesting way.

5. Thoughts about the General Concept of Learning
Preferences
 I think is really important to know what kind of
learning style we are because it helps us to know
ourselves better. Getting a better idea of what type of
person we are and what kind of learning styles we fit
into can help us more productively and effectively in
our study and career.

 Level 1 gives me a broader understanding to get to know different type
of technologies, it provides me a general picture of the technologies
 Level 2 activity gives me an opportunity to discus and share what I
learn and know with the classmates. By disusing with each other in the
forum, we deepen our understanding and obtain our knowledge by
exchanging idea and opinion
 Level 3 activity, it gives me a chance to put what I learn into practice,
and test if the technologies work for my learning or not
 I think the level 2 activity is important and work for my learning
because I can get feedback from the peers and also share my idea with
the them; I get improvement and development during this process

 LinkedIn: efficient tool to connect with different
kinds of professionals, platform for job hunter,
internship, volunteering, etc…
 iPod & iPad: video lecture on the go – anywhere &
anytime
 Game & MMOGs (Flashcard): good tool for me
to memorize the terminologies and important terms
in my HTM class.

Experience
 Healthy diet: provides me enough protein and
energy to support my daily activities
 Exercise: I exercise 30 mins a day, 5 days a week,
which helps me to maintain a strong and healthy
body
 Good sleeping: helps me to concentrate on classes
and ensure learning efficiency and productivity

 Continues use technologies to help for my learning.
