2. During the Photoshop tutorial session we learnt the basic
steps on how to use it; how to open on and use it using
a digipak template. The template was very effective as it
had the spine which not only helped divide the sides in
which one would become the front and back. It also
helped it look professional and realistic which was the
main aim.

3. As an individual task we had to
use a picture of any music artist
and edit it; making a mock up
digipak cover.
In my attempt to create a digipak I
used Amaal Nuux. The
screenshot on the right shows my
work in progress; I used a cover
photo of Amaal and placed it on
the right side. I used font book
and picked a font type I thought
was simple yet striking enough to
grasp the attention from the
audience. I planned to use the left
side; Back , to have all the
contextual information that a
typical digipak follows such as the
logo, barcode,
production/publishers details and
most importantly the track lists.

4. I found the Photoshop tutorial session useful as it helped me develop a
basic level of understanding in terms of how to use it. I also feel
more confident in using Photoshop now that I am familiar with it.
