What’s Next?
• Iterative design process
– 25, 65 percent, 95 percent and 100 percent design plan submittals with
internal reviews and site walks for field validation of design and tree
removal
• Coordination with community, county divisions and utility
companies
• Permits from U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Department of
Environmental Quality, and VDOT
• Estimated final plan approval date: June, 2018

Construction Timeline
• The bidding process for construction can take approximately 3
months after final authorization of the final plan set
• Funding allocation for construction are determined by project
readiness and priorities for Fiscal Year 2020, and also Board of
Supervisors approved budget. Potential for fall/winter 2018
• Construction duration: approx. 10 - 12 months
• Post-Construction Transfer of Fairchild and Quander Property
from BOS to FCPA
