• Construction completion scheduled for Summer 2019.
• VDOT punch list ongoing – MWAA and Bechtel to complete

• Package A (Rail line, system, and stations) – 92%
• Package B (Rail yard at Dulles) – 96%
• Contractual Substantial Completion – August 2019
• WMATA Board to establish Revenue Operations Date

grid, elevator/escalator work, pedestrian bridge to existing
garage.
• Innovation Station – Detailing for pavilion and escalators, station
finishes, ceiling panel installation, electrical rough-in and
plumbing continues.
Phase 2 – Station Construction

• Dulles Airport Station – Station lighting, ceiling grid framing,
canopy trim, and platform paver installation.
• Loudoun Gateway Station – Vault roof skylight framing and
glazing, pedestrian bridge ceiling installation trim work, and MEP
rough-in.
• Ashburn Station - Station roof work, MEP rough-in, escalator and
elevator work, and pedestrian bridge detailing.
Phase 2 – Station Construction

• Rail and switches made ready for trains to be pulled to access
test sections of at-grade guideway
• Greenway median rail and switches installation continues
• TPSS and station equipment tested and final connection
verification
• Aerial guideway from TPSS 17 to Innovation Center Station
verified and ready for train movement and dynamic testing
Phase 2 – Aerial, Track, Utilities, Systems

• Bio retention ponds and perimeter fence installation

• MEP work for Service and Inspection Building,
Maintenance Way Building, Warehouse Building, and Train
Wash Facility.
• Ongoing – Testing of Yard Train Control cabling, switch and
signal installation
