2. Years ago technology were used for communication, to get information
in doing some research, to produce goods and services, etc., but as
time goes by technology rapidly developed and it was already used in
educating people most especially the students and this technologies
were called educational technologies, this technologies help the
students to improve their skills and abilities , to gain more knowledge,
to build a good relationship with others, to maximize their capabilities,
to share their knowledge, and many more. This technologies also helps
the educators to prepare their students to be globally competitive.

4. According to Wikipedia, Educational Technology is
the effective use of technological tools in learning. As
a concept, it concerns an array of tools, such as
media, machines and networking hardware, as well
as considering underlying theoretical perspectives
for their effective application. Educational
technology includes numerous types of media that
deliver text, audio, images, animation, and streaming
video, and includes technology applications and
processes such as audio or video tape, satellite TV,
CD-ROM, and computer-based learning.

8. Student-centered learning, also known as learner-centered education,
broadly encompasses methods of teaching that shift the focus of instruction from
the teacher to the student. In original usage, student-centered learning aims to
develop learner autonomy and independence by putting responsibility for the
learning path in the hands of students. Student-centered instruction focuses on
skills and practices that enable lifelong learning and independent problem-
solving. Student-centered learning theory and practice are based on
the constructivist learning theory that emphasizes the learner's critical role in
constructing meaning from new information and prior experience. Student-
centered learning puts students' interests first, acknowledging student voice as
central to the learning experience. In a student-centered classroom, students
choose what they will learn, how they will learn, and how they will assess their
own learning.

10. Collaborative learning is a method of teaching and learning
in which students team together to explore a significant
question or create a meaningful project. A group of students
discussing a lecture or students from different schools
working together over the Internet on a shared assignment
are both examples of collaborative learning. Students must
learn how to collaborate with others. Students should learn
how to recognize the different strengths and talents each
person can bring to a project, and change roles depending
on those attributes. In collaborating with other people they
can gain more knowledge and they can build a good
friendship too.

12. Learning context is an area which must be
addressed if meaningful learning is to take place.
There is actually no such thing as "new"
knowledge. In order to acquire new information,
the brain must place it in the context of
something that is already known. The teacher can
make a point of helping of helping students to
understand how the skills they are building can
be applied in their lives, they need to take more
general approach and teach them the skills that
are useful in any situation.

teaching are also evaluated by it.

related theories, it helps the students to become globally
competitive.

the objectives of education are being reviewed and revised with the
passage of time.

their methods and techniques in teaching. Teachers must adapt the
technologies that were introduced now in order for them to be
knowledgeable on how to manipulate the technologies and will not
depend on it.

22. - Appropriateness of the technologies being used in a curriculum
must be observed because no matter how great the students is if the
technology is not appropriate with the curriculum they have, they
can’t really excel and show how great their skills and abilities are.

in the materials. Only right type of materials will able to modify the
behavior of the learner suitably making him a fit person for the
society.

teaching-learning process. Usually, teachers nowadays uses
educational technologies as a part of their objectives. Ex. Film
Viewing, teachers mostly uses audio-visual aids because students are
visual learners.

different areas of education. Evaluation of the teaching-learning
process is also made better because through feedback, things are
improved thoroughly and there is better control over the process of
education. Thus, educational technology can revolutionize the whole
process of teaching learning.
