33. CONDITIONS FOR ETS SCHEME (PRE-APPROVED)
1. Only Singaporean & PR Employees (Directors not eligible for ETS)
2. Min. number of employees (current & future) to onboard program: 50%
3. Level of hires: Junior - middle level PME roles.
4. Company should be prepared to hire candidate undergoing program for at least 9months
– 1 year
5. Scheme is meant to expand skillsets of existing staff to take on new responsibilities
6. ** If you have identified a NEW staff you want to hire, you can also onboard them onto
Talent Upstart program to enjoy the ETS scheme
7. ETS grant is applied on pre-approval basis, where WDA will have a site visit to the
company. Lithan will assist company in the administration and pre-assessment.
34. Q: Can existing staff enjoy the ETS grant?
A: Yes, can enroll current stand and Lithan will crafts a OJT training blueprint
Q: What if I decide to terminate the staff after his probation period?
A: Depending on where he is in the career progression pipeline, you may terminate his contract
as per contractual agreements. The OJT training implementation will be pro-rated till the
termination
Q: When will I receive the WDA ETS OJT reimbursement?
A: In 3 tranches

The 3 business fundamental modules comprise of Startup Bootcamp, Digital Marketing and Sales Mastery.
The 1st is startup bootcamp. This module is designed for aspiring entrepreneurs and existing entrepreneurs who want to grow their business. Through this course, you will learn to understand customers and their problems, adopt a solution-orientated approach to solving problems, appreciate what goes into running a startup, and understand more about revenue and cost involved in doing so. It starts on the 25th Nov 2015.
The 2nd is digital marketing bootcamp. This module is designed to impart skills and knowledge need to improve lead generation through various channels, track your marketing performance and expenditure and give you better return on investment spent on your digital marketing campaigns. It starts on the 22nd Dec 2015.
The 3rd is Sales mastery. Through this course, you’ll learn how to create your own sales canvas, improve your presentation skills and come up with your own best practices and processes to build your own salesbook. It starts on 28th Jan 2016.
Upon the completion of these 3 modules, you will be well-equipped to survive in a startup environment and your startup learning curve will be minimised, standing you in good stead to get hired by one of the many startups who are on this program looking to hire.
For 108 course hours (30%) , we can allocate 252 of OJT hrs
Engagement of senior level staff would require justification. Hence OJT is only applicable to hiring PME roles (defined by qualification / job role)
Q: What If i review a candidate I like and do not want to wait for him to complete his business fundamentals modules? Can I hire him immediately? A: Yes, you may. However, the company has an obligation to sponsor the staff he still has to continue his classes till completion of. Implementation of OJT is optional.
