Flora Fountain is a stone fountain located in South Mumbai that was built in 1869 to honor the governor of Mumbai, Sir Bartle Frere. It was designed by R. Norman Shaw and constructed using imported Portland stone at a cost of Rs 47,000. The fountain is surrounded by offices, banks, colleges and shops and is a popular tourist attraction in the business center of Mumbai.
