4. UCD and BJUT (Beijing University of
Technology create BDIC in 2012)
UCD Staff teach on four degrees (IoT,
Software Eng, Finance, Elec Info Eng)
currently 1,200 students enrolled
Since 2012 BDIC students visit UCD
Campus annually and receive library
training
BDIC see UCD Library as an integral part
of the UCD student experience
In 2016 a request for information skills
training programme delivered on Beijing

Library training programme designed for BDIC students
Presentations and support materials were integrated into the VLE to
encourage student engagement
Library tutorials adapted to to reflect local restrictions. Local testing
of online tools to ensure compatibility
