The author married their best friend 5 years ago. They realize that marriage and parenthood are not easy, but they are worth it because they are doing it together. Though life is not perfect and they argue sometimes, they have a good life with two healthy, beautiful children. The author promises to always be faithful, understand their partner's interests, make them smile daily, and never give up on their partner or the relationship. They say that if they could, they would marry their partner again every day and wish them a happy anniversary, hoping for 75 more years together.

1. 5 years ago, I married my best friend.

2. And in our first 5 years of marriage, I’ve realized a few things.

3. #1: Marriage is not easy.

4. #2: Being a parent is not easy.

5. #3: But both are so worth it

6. Because I am doing them with you.

7. Now life hasn’t been perfect

8. And we’ve had our share of arguments

9. Like who didn’t fold the laundry (you)

11. But when all is said and done, we’ve got it pretty good.

12. We have 2 kids that are healthy

13. And SO beautiful!

14. We get to comfort each other in the hard times

15. And enjoy and celebrate the good times together.
