Salary: (6500 – 7500) USD
Main duties:
• Business Development: Constant scanning of global industry environment for opportunities,
both in terms of possible new products, existing product line and new potential customers.
Analyzing the current market trend, Managing business relationship with both distribution &
supply partners
• Strategy Planning: Overseeing complete business operations with accountability of revenue,
profitability and sales forecast. Planning, directing, and coordinating the work activities and
resources necessary for manufacturing products in accordance with cost, quality, and quantity
specifications.
• Global Sourcing: Mapping and identifying the right supply partners. Negotiating with them to
ensure optimum product sourcing and consistent quality. Building and maintaining long term
business relationship with trade partners. Constant scanning of global industry environment for
exploring new opportunities. Developing and creating sourcing plans, requests for proposals, etc
Conduct supplier analysis, evaluate potential suppliers, and manage the overall supplier qualification
process
Minimum 5 years’ of experience in sourcing materials from Asia Pacific, Europe and South America.
• Sales & Marketing: Driving sales strategies for achieving of periodical targets with a view to
optimize revenue. Charting out promotional campaigns and other marketing activities for the
concerned product categories by utilizing market intelligence reports from Africa. Drawing up
marketing plans according to budgets, implementation of marketing activities and ensuring
adherence to planned expenses. Conducting market analysis to keep abreast of market trends &
competition
• Market Intelligence: Conducting Market researches and preparing business plans by tapping
niche markets and coordinating with channel partners to penetrate these segments.
• Product / Brand Management: Planning product development and new product launches to
widen the product portfolio and generating incremental sales volumes.
• Supply Planning: Ensuring cost effective and seamless logistics operation to maintain sufficient
inventory levels at each level of distribution channel. Booking orders from channel partners and
coordinating with their sales team for achievement of sales target. Assessing credit worthiness
of the channel partners and monitoring on payments.
• Team Management & Development: Managing a geographically diverse team and implementing
strategies for building team effectiveness. Coaching team members, grooming them and
monitoring their performance to ensure efficiency in operations & meeting of individual & group
targets.
• Negotiate agreements and agreement related duties.
• Experience in African Markets (will be having frequent travels to Africa)
• Portuguese language is a major plus
