Giving opinions
A. Your best friend wants to give up his studies and start working as a barman. You
completely disagree with him. Try to convince him not to do it talking about the
advantages of that job among other reasons
B. You have decided to give up your studies and start working as a barman. Your friend
doesn’t agree with your decision. Tell her your point of view and the advantages of
that job to change his opinion.
Requests and permission
A. You’re in your friend’s apartment and are forced to stay there for a week. Ask your
friend for permission to use things in his house.
B. Your friend is staying in your apartment for a week. Give him permission to use things
in your house or refuse it
Complaining
A. You have already finished eating. Speak to the manager and complain about:
-the service was unfriendly
-the food was tasteless and cold
-you would like to have a compensation/refund
B. You’re the manager of a
- listen to the customer’s complaints
- disagree about food’s quality
- give your customer a compensation somehow
