2. Stand Up
Standing up means that we are
standing up for what we believe
in, It means taking our beliefs
and putting them into practice
in our lives
Protecting our standards by not
only being an example but by
inviting others to share our
standards
By being a leader that stands up
to protect the weak and by
offering a helping hand to those
who are in need.

3. Standing Up – Patrick Henry
Patrick Henry stood up
because he knew that
the American colonists
were going to fight for
independence and in
his speech he used
these words to show
his support for the
colonial army.
“Give me liberty or
give me death!”

4. Stay True
April 20, 20134
Every person is unique and
every person has something
that only they can contribute
to this day and age
Today it can be difficult to
value ourselves because of
the pressures we face to fit in,
or that it is only what we look
like that counts, not our
talents or our character.
It is when we stay true to who
we really are, and the best
that we can be that we are
able to make an impact on
the world.
5. Staying True – Gandhi
Gandhi stayed true to his
beliefs and the impact that
he had on the world was
incredible. He showed that it
is not violence that ends
disagreements - it is love. He
was a great example of his
quote “You must be the
change you wish to see in
the world.” He stayed true by
following his beliefs.

6. Stand Out
As we learn to stand up, and
stay true, we will also learn to
stand out because as we learn
to be true to ourselves we will
not blend in with the blur of
other people anymore for one
simple reason, we know who we
are, and we know that we can
fulfill our best potential
We know our purpose and are
ready to accomplish the great
things in our lives.

7. Stand Out – Founding Fathers
April 20, 20137
The Founding Fathers
of America stood out
because they were
creating a nation and
a government unlike
any that had existed
before, they created
the ideas for the
foundation of
democracy all over
the world beginning
with these words “We
the People of the
united states.”
8. Closing Thoughts

To me this flower arrangement
reflects our message by the
sunflower that is a little bit higher
than the roses, that represents
standing up, the sunflower is staying
true to itself and its full potential, a
flower cannot change its
appearance, and each flower is
different and unique. The fact that it
is noticeably different from all the rest
represents standing out. I think that
by using these flower arrangements
we see that even though each type
of flower is different each one is still
beautiful, when we apply this to
ourselves we see that everyone is
different but we are all beautiful, and
special.
