EmpXtrack provides a very simple interface to allow employees to capture time and their managers to view and approve the same. You can setup the module in less than 15 minutes and allow an effective productivity and time analysis to happen in the matter of a few weeks.

This presentation allows you to:
a. Fill Timesheet as Employee.
b. View Subordinate’s Timesheet as Manager.
c. Configure Timesheet Module.
Note: We would be trying most of the functionality with 3 employees
Janet Leverling – the employee
John Steel – Janet’s Manager
Terri Osborn – the HR Manager
To Login as an Employee, roll on the mouse to the employee and click on the Login button (as shown
in the image below)

To fill timesheet, you need to:
1. Log in as Janet Leverling to try the functionality of an employee.
2. Go to My profile >> My timesheet and click on the + icon for the day for which you want to fill time
sheet.
3. Provide the details of the time sheet (such as project and activity)
and click Save.
4. Repeat the process till the time sheet is completely
filled for a day. (Note: Using configurations, we can enter
start time and end time for each activity too).

To view subordinates’ timesheet, you need to:
1. Log in as John Steel.
2. Go to Manage >> Manager services >> Timesheet.
The consolidated view of total working hours of your team members can be seen on the Manager view
tab. Click My projects tab to see the number of hours spent by your subordinates on your projects and
click View all projects where I have access tab to view the number of hours spent by your subordinates
on the projects where you have access rights but you are not managing.

To configure Timesheet module, you need to:
1. Log in as Terri Osborn.
2. Go to Settings >> Employee self services >> Timesheet >> Timesheet
configuration.
3. Configure the timesheet settings desired in your company for filling timesheet on
holidays, weekends, leave, maximum and minimum hours to be filled etc.

To configure TimeSheet Time Period settings of Timesheet module, you need to:
1. Log in as Terri Osborn.
2. Go to Settings >> Employee self services >> Timesheet >> Manage timesheet
timeperiods.
3. Click Add TimeSheet Time Period button to add a time sheet period.
4. Click on the modify icon for a time period to lock that period for filling timesheet for
employees.

To configure Clients for Timesheet module, you need to:
1. Go to Settings >> Employee self services >>Timesheet >> Manage clients
2. Click Add New Clients button to add new clients to the system.
3. Provide client details on the Client Details>>Add page.

To configure Projects for Timesheet module, you need to:
1. Go to Settings >> Employee self services >> Manage projects
2. Click Add New Project button to add new projects to the system and then provide
project details on the Manage Projects >>Add Projects page that appears.
