1. Year 11 Study Leave
The last day of teaching for Year 11 students will be Thursday May 17th. During
the UK half term week of Sunday 3rd June to Thursday 7th June there will be
voluntary revision sessions, students should make sure they check with
teachers so they know when these will be.
In addition, students taking GCSE French will be on study leave on Monday 14th
May and Thursday 17th May.
Students taking GCSE Music will be on study leave Monday May 14th.
All students should have a copy of the "Examinations Guidebook" (attached),
please make sure they are familiar with this as there are a lot of important details
as well as contact details for out of school hours. Many exams are held out of
normal school hours when the switchboard is not manned so it is important that
if there is an issue you contact me on my mobile number.
Results and Certificates:
GCSE results will be available to students form 9am local time on Thursday 23rd
August 2012. For Edexcel, students will receive a PIN number so that they can
access their results online. For other results you can phone or call into school on
or after the day or receive these by email. If you wish to receive the results by
email then please send an email to examinations@dubaibritishschool.ae from the
email address that you wish the results to be sent to.
Certificates are due in at the end of October, if you will no longer be in Dubai and
able to collect these then please supply a forwarding address to me.
