Planning Process
Planning Process Identify Concerns Prepare a science center to keep 4-5 year olds engaged for 7-10 minutes.   Set A Goal Use resources in my resource container Develop an activity incorporating science Students will be engaged for 7-10 minutes Activity will be interactive Activity will incorporate at least three of the five senses
Planning process Form A Plan Gather resources from classroom text, workbooks, and the internet Review previous science center lesson plans Gather science center resource materials and supplies Acquire knowledge regarding developmental stages Develop age appropriate activities for 4-5 year olds Act Write lesson plans for age appropriate science centers Gather necessary materials for science activities Teach from the science center lesson plans Evaluate the lessons taught Improve and revise the lesson plans

Lesson Plans
Lesson Plan 4-5 Emma Lundgren Art Fall trees Texture, sizes, shapes, fine motor skills. Fine motor skills are important so they can learn to write and develop appropriately.
Lesson Plan A table is needed. Paint, paintbrushes and paper.  We will paint the kids arms brown and they will put them on paper and we will have red and orange paint available so they can put their fingers in it and put them on the tree as the leaves. No modifications necessary.
Evidence Here I am reading to a small group (left). I am helping the children with an art activity.
