The document discusses Stage 3 of an Architectural Design Studio course. It instructs students to express their concept statement through a full-scale structure built from a single material. This structure must engage users and convey the concept. Students are presented with examples of structures built from various materials like cardboard, newspaper, plastic bottles and more to demonstrate that any material can form a constructible structure when using the appropriate techniques.

Stage 3 - Envision
The next step of exploration by the team is to
attempt to express the emergent understanding
and the concept statement through a full scale
built structure. The structure is to have the
function of engaging the user in a manner that
relays to them the concept statement. It is to be
built of a single material utilizing the inherent
structural capabilities and characteristics of this
material.
