2. FRENCH TEF
It is administered by the Paris Chamber of
Commerce and Industry (CCIP), accurately
measures test takers’ skills in general
French, placing them on a scale of
proficiency levels indexed to the CEFR
and to Canadian language-proficiency
levels.
The TEF consists of a series of modules in
multiple-choice format (written
comprehension, oral comprehension,
vocabulary, and structure) and two open-
ended modules (written and oral
expression).
3. FRENCH TEF
• It assesses comprehension and
expression skills in French.
• It gives a quantitative and qualitative
measure of the level of candidate's
linguistic and communication skills.
• It offers a detailed and personalized
analysis of results.
4. The TEF includes:

5. FRENCH TEF
The test results are validated by an official
document attesting to the points earned for
each section and the linguistic and
communication objectives attained.
Therefore it is impossible to fail the TEF.
This certificate is valid for one year from the
date one takes the exam.
The sections are based on various exercises
and activities.
6. NOTES
1.Canadian Federal Government requires
both compulsory & optional sections for
immigration purposes.
2.No diploma is required to take the TEF
exams.
3.You can take the TEF exams as much as
you want.
4.A results certificate, sent to you by
FIAF, is valid for one year.
