Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have
learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

2. • When I look back at my preliminary
tasks and compare that to my final
music magazine, I can see that my skills
and knowledge of specific software (eg.
Photoshop) have greatly improved.
Meaning that my work has improved
and my magazine now has a
professional look. I also think that
reviewing other music magazines and
analysing what has worked well, in
terms of colour schemes, fonts and
images has impacted my work. I feel
like I have made educated decisions
regarding the aesthetics of my
magazine, showing a huge difference
from my preliminary work.

3. • Since the start of this project I think my photography skills have
improved. As we took our own images for the magazine I learnt how
to use a professional camera which made a huge difference in the
quality of my images. I can see an improvement in the quality of
editing too. I learnt how effective different angles can be and also
how important the back light is.
